# ThinkMaaS Free Token Hunter (Free Token Hub) — Full Explanation

> One-line definition: ThinkMaaS Free Token Hunter is a quota program by ThinkAlike Technology (Beijing ThinkAlike Technology Co., Ltd.). ThinSpider continuously discovers and tracks publicly available free AI model capacity, we claim quota on our own verified vendor accounts, every call is metered through ThinkMaaS's OpenAI-compatible gateway, and the source list and limits are published line by line.
>
> Slogan: Free quota, line by line.
>
> Free quota exists because of upstream vendors' free policies and changes with them — it can be narrowed, throttled or withdrawn. This page makes no promise of unlimited quota, permanent free access, availability or a service level on the free quota.

## What is it and whose problem does it solve

To validate whether a large model works for them, teams usually have to apply for a key, attach a card, configure rate limits and then read a bill. Free Token Hunter compresses that into two things: register a ThinkMaaS account and call a set of models that genuinely are free right now. It serves three audiences:

1. **Teams that want to validate a model at zero cost** — no purchasing decision required first.
2. **Procurement and compliance who need to see the quota and source ledger** — every number carries a source link and an observation date.
3. **Enterprises governing AI usage behind one gateway** — the free pool uses the same token, group and metering machinery as a paid deployment.

It is not a 13th product in the matrix. It is a campaign on ThinkMaaS: ThinSpider maintains the quota pool, ThinkMaaS receives and issues it, and this page handles disclosure plus the claim path.

## What is the daily free-quota board

The board answers one concrete question: how many usable entries are in the free pool today, from how many published sources, and how much total quota.

- The page embeds a **static snapshot generated daily** and makes no cross-origin live request. This avoids blank pages behind CORS and lets search engines and AI engines fetch the same content.
- The snapshot fields and sources live in the machine-readable `hub-snapshot` block of the HTML page source and share one origin with the table below.
- When the board is not opened, the page writes no "estimated figures".

Current snapshot (same-day observation):

<!-- hub:totals:start -->
- **Free model entries**: 17 — thinspider.thinkalike.com.cn/data/token-hub.json · observed 2026-10-05
- **Catalog entries total**: 466 — Same catalog response, observed the same day · observed 2026-10-05
- **Published sources**: 1 — ToS-cleared sources on the public board; the rest are listed under Excluded
- **Free quota today**: Not opened — Real figures are written by the daily snapshot once the grant channel opens; nothing is announced in advance ｜ daily issuance cap 200,000 quota ≈ 0.40 USD/day (gateway config, source: cron --cap)
- **Why the board is closed (self-reported by the gateway, every 10 min)**: no routable channel in the free pool yet (missing upstream key) (source: https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn/pool-readiness.json)

Rate-limit source: https://openrouter.ai/docs/api-reference/limits (consulted 2026-10-04) — free-model requests are capped at 20 requests/minute, at 50 requests/day while cumulative spend is under 10 USD and 1000 requests/day once it reaches that.

**Domestic free tiers**: Zhipu open platform (https://open.bigmodel.cn/ ), Moonshot (https://platform.moonshot.cn/ ), SiliconFlow (https://api.siliconflow.cn/ ), Alibaba Cloud Bailian DashScope (https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/ ) and DeepSeek (https://api.deepseek.com/ ) all returned 401 from our runtime host on 2026-10-04 (the route works, only a key is missing). Their free-tier figures and validity periods change often, so this page does not hard-code them; model-level rows are appended by the daily snapshot once a source joins the published set.

## Which sources are not included, and why

Publishing what we do not do is part of this program.

| Source | Status | Why excluded | Observed |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Google Generative Language API (Gemini) | Unreachable | HTTPS requests from our runtime host return code 000 (no connection established); it neither enters the runtime pool nor is advertised as a free source | 2026-10-04 |
| Mistral | Unreachable | Same as above, return code 000 | 2026-10-04 |
| ModelScope | Unreachable | Same as above, return code 000 | 2026-10-04 |
| Groq | 403 | Its model-list endpoint returns 403 from our runtime host; there is no usable free path | 2026-10-04 |
| Hugging Face | Unreachable | Measured 2026-10-05 from our runtime host: code 000 (TLS/SNI blocked); its serverless free tier is account-billed and redistribution unverified | 2026-10-05 |
| DeepInfra | Checked: no free tier | Catalogue is public and credential-free; of 183 measured entries zero are priced at 0, so there is no free quota to hunt. Records the check only, excluded from public totals | 2026-10-05 |
| 5 domestic free tiers (Zhipu / Moonshot / SiliconFlow / Bailian / DeepSeek) | ToS review pending | The route works, but whether each vendor's terms allow distributing free quota to third parties through a gateway must be evidenced clause by clause before board-listing; until then the source stays `published=false` and is used only as trial credit | 2026-10-04 |
| L3-style tooling (bulk registration / captcha solving / fingerprint reset) | Deliberately excluded | Fraud against vendors or anti-fraud bypass, plus unauditable third-party code; recorded as risk intelligence only — not implemented, not advertised, not integrated | 2026-10-04 |

## Where the quota comes from — and where it does not

**These three paths:**

1. **C1 public free model catalogs**: crawl models that vendors and aggregators publish for free (OpenRouter `:free`, domestic free tiers), diff for changes, add to the pool. Fully automatic, with observation time and source URL.
2. **C2 official free quota on our own accounts**: daily check-ins, official coupons and free-tier allowance queries and renewals on accounts we already own and verified. Scheduling is automatic; credentials and authorisation are configured once by a human.
3. **C3 one-time vouchers for our own new accounts**: apply for an official API key or new-user voucher for **our own** new account. Registration is done by a human with real details; the tooling only records and claims, it does not auto-register.

**Not these five:** bulk account registration (disposable email, SMS code services, bulk phone verification); bypassing or cracking captchas or calling captcha-solving services; resetting device fingerprints / install IDs / machine IDs to reuse trials; IP rotation aimed at evading vendor risk controls; harvesting or reusing other people's cookies, tokens or sessions. These are forbidden zones: no corresponding code path exists and nothing like them is advertised here.

The distribution framing is uniform: **we use keys from our own verified accounts and issue through our own gateway, with everything metered.**

## How to claim it and how to use it

1. Register a ThinkMaaS account (password registration is live today): https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn
2. Verify your email. **Rollout precondition**: this switch is the precondition for issuing grants; its current value is below.
3. Receive the registration grant. The figure is set by platform configuration and written into this page's snapshot on the day it opens.
4. Check in daily to top up. When the daily issuance cap is reached, that round stops and resumes the next day.
5. Call free-pool models through the OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

<!-- hub:grant:start -->
Issuance switches as measured on the platform (source: maas.thinkalike.com.cn/api/status, observed 2026-10-05):

| Public field | Value | What it means |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `register_enabled` | `true` | Public registration is open |
| `email_verification` | `true` | Email verification is on — one prerequisite of the issuance channel is satisfied |
| `checkin_enabled` | `false` | Daily check-in is off; this page does not pre-announce check-in amounts |
| `turnstile_check` | `false` | No third-party human-check service is used; protection relies on email verification and domain restrictions |
| `quota_per_unit` | `500000` | Quota unit conversion (500,000 quota = 1 USD) |
<!-- hub:grant:end -->

Examples (issue your own token on the ThinkMaaS account page — this page never collects any credential):

```bash
curl https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn/v1/chat/completions \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $THINKMAAS_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "model": "qwen/qwen3.8-27b:free",
    "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Introduce yourself in one sentence"}]
  }'
```

```python
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(
    base_url="https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn/v1",
    api_key="YOUR_THINKMAAS_TOKEN",
)
resp = client.chat.completions.create(
    model="qwen/qwen3.8-27b:free",   # use a free-pool model ID from the day's board
    messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Introduce yourself in one sentence"}],
)
print(resp.choices[0].message.content)
```

Model IDs must come from the day's board: the free pool gains and loses entries with upstream policy. Free-quota users can only call models inside the free-pool group; paid channels (including existing ThinKM gateway channels) are invisible and unusable to them.

## Open-source landscape (our approach vs account-farming tools)

Plenty of "free token" projects exist on GitHub. Class labels: **L1** automation limited to official free quota on accounts we own and verify; **L2** discovery and aggregation of public free model catalogs and official free tiers; **L3** bulk registration, captcha bypass, device-fingerprint resets, session theft.

Table data measured on 2026-10-04 by visiting each repository page and its commit feed; star counts change over time and licenses were read from each repository's LICENSE file. The full survey (with per-entry verdicts and items marked unverified) is `docs/RESEARCH-free-token-claim-tools.md` in the repository.

| Project | Class | License | Stars observed | Last activity observed | What it actually does | Verdict: usable for commercial integration |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [freellmapi](https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi) | L2 | MIT | 30.5k | 2026-10-03 | Aggregates free tiers of many providers behind one OpenAI-compatible API, routes by availability and switches on rate limits; uses user-supplied keys | Usable as a commercial reference (MIT); we build the same L2 capability first-party and import no code |
| [awesome-free-llm-apis](https://github.com/mnfst/awesome-free-llm-apis) | L2 | CC0-1.0 | 9.1k | 2026-08-21 | A continuously verified list of LLM APIs with durable free tiers; CI checks links and entries | Usable commercially (CC0); its catalog-verification approach matches our C1 path |
| [any-auto-register](https://github.com/lxf746/any-auto-register) | L3 | AGPL-3.0 | 3.3k | 2026-08-25 | Registers accounts automatically for 13+ platforms using disposable mailboxes and third-party captcha solvers (YesCaptcha / 2Captcha), with browser fingerprint spoofing | Not usable: breaches compliance lines X1/X2/X3; AGPL also restricts closed-source integration |
| [Kiro-account-manager](https://github.com/chaogei/Kiro-account-manager) | L3 | AGPL-3.0 | 1.4k | 2026-06-11 | Rotates an account pool, auto-refreshes tokens, modifies device identifiers and machine IDs to evade association bans | Not usable: fingerprint/machine-ID reset is forbidden zone X3, and pooled credentials are persisted |
| [Free-LLM-Collection](https://github.com/for-the-zero/Free-LLM-Collection) | L2 | No LICENSE | 609 | unverified | A list of free LLM APIs with a selection of models (documentation only) | Not importable: no license means no grant; intelligence value only |
| [workbuddy-auto-signin](https://github.com/88lin/workbuddy-auto-signin) | L1 | MIT | 972 | 2026-10-01 | Reads the local login session of your own account and completes the daily check-in and reward claims; registers no new accounts | Mechanism is a valid L1 reference; code not imported, its PowerShell install step requires manual audit |
| [FreeLLM-API-KeyHub](https://github.com/guihuashaoxiang/FreeLLM-API-KeyHub) | L2 | No LICENSE | 260 | 2026-07-19 | Free API resources and limited-time calls across Chinese LLM vendors; states it ships no API keys | Not importable: no license; high intelligence value |
| [free-ai-models](https://github.com/ClawLabsAI/free-ai-models) | L2 | MIT | 188 | 2026-10-04 | Refreshes a free-model list from public sources every 24 hours with GitHub Actions, including context and rate limits | Usable as a commercial reference (MIT); structurally the same as our daily snapshot refresh |
| [Free_Token](https://github.com/kakawebai/Free_Token) | L2 | No LICENSE | 34 | 2026-06-10 | Aggregates free keys the user applied for manually into an OpenAI-compatible entry point | Not importable: no license, and its "no cap on the pool" style wording contradicts the actual rate limits |
| [AutoRouterKey](https://github.com/Tght1211/AutoRouterKey) | L3 | MIT | 20 | 2026-03-17 | Browser automation that creates Outlook mailboxes and registers OpenRouter accounts in bulk to harvest keys, with automated captcha handling | Not usable: bulk registration plus captcha bypass breaches X1/X2; an MIT license does not make the behaviour lawful |

**Our implementation scope**: first-party adapters for L1 / L2 only. A plugin must declare provider, channel class, license and source URL or it is not loaded, and its runtime domains are constrained by a whitelist. There are no unauditable `curl | bash` dependencies and no unlicensed code in the tree. L3 findings stay as threat and risk-control intelligence.

## Real limits and risks (no sugar-coating)

- **Upstream policy is the ceiling.** Vendors can narrow free quota, add real-name checks or withdraw free models at any time. When it happens, the change comes from the snapshot and fires a source-failure event that disables the channel.
- **A daily issuance cap exists but is not claimed to be a hard cap.** The platform monitors the day's issued total and trips a circuit breaker, stopping issuance at the cap and resuming after it falls back. We do not describe this as an unbreakable hard limit. Counted toward the daily exposure: the registration grant, daily check-ins, and manual top-ups landing on a registered free-pool member; The prerequisites for opening the board are self-reported by the gateway in a public read-only JSON every 10 minutes (https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn/pool-readiness.json), naming exactly what is missing; the board page shows that reason.
- **Rate limits are real.** For example OpenRouter free models are capped at 20 requests/minute and 50 requests/day until 10 USD cumulative spend (source above). The free pool is not fit for production traffic.
- **Terms review is an ongoing job.** A source that has not cleared review is not distributed externally; that is why the board may look small, deliberately.
- **No service level is promised.** Free quota carries no SLA, no compensation clause and no availability guarantee. Buy capacity if you need it.

## FAQ

**What is Free Token Hunter?** A quota program on ThinkMaaS: ThinSpider keeps discovering public free model capacity and tracking changes, we claim quota on our own verified vendor accounts, every call is metered through the ThinkMaaS gateway, and the source list and limits are published here.

**Why is it free, and what do you get?** Because these models are already offered for free by upstream vendors as free tiers or pools; our cost is only the discovery, claim and metering system. Our motive is a zero-friction entry point where teams test the gateway and quota governance, which becomes long-term and private-deployment customers. The free part comes from upstream policy, not from a subsidy promise by us.

**Is the quota unlimited? Will it stay free?** No, and no promise is made. Quota is bounded by upstream policy and rate limits and can be narrowed or withdrawn any time; there is a daily issuance cap with a circuit breaker on our side. You will not find "unlimited quota" or "permanently free" on this page, and there is no availability or SLA guarantee on free quota.

**Can I claim it right now?** The authoritative switch state is the `grant` object in this page's snapshot (`register_enabled` / `email_verification` / `checkin_enabled`, raw API values). While the snapshot reads **not opened**, the registration grant and daily check-in are off and no figures are announced in advance.

**Why are Google Gemini, Mistral, ModelScope and Groq missing?** Measured from our runtime host on 2026-10-04: Gemini, Mistral and ModelScope return code 000 (unreachable) and Groq returns 403. Sources unreachable from our runtime do not enter the runtime pool and are not advertised; all are listed in the excluded table with reasons.

**Do you mass-register accounts to farm quota?** No. Bulk registration, disposable mailboxes and SMS code services, captcha bypass or solving, device-fingerprint / install-ID / machine-ID resets, risk-control-evading IP rotation, and harvesting other people's cookies or tokens are all forbidden. Quota comes only from C1 public catalogs, C2 official free quota on accounts we own and verify, and C3 one-time vouchers claimed for our own new accounts.

**Can I resell or commercially redistribute free quota?** Not as use or marketing. Whether upstream terms allow distributing free quota to third parties through a gateway must be evidenced clause by clause; anything not cleared stays `published=false` and never enters the public board. Until review clears, free quota is used only under a trial-credit framing.

**Can free-pool users reach paid models?** No. Free-quota users are confined to the free-pool group; paid channels are invisible and unusable to them. Existing ThinKM gateway channels stay in a separate group and are unaffected.

**How often is the board updated, and why trust it?** Catalog discovery once a day, quota snapshots 1–2 times a day, check-in claims per vendor rules (usually daily). The page embeds a static snapshot and issues no cross-origin live request, so it cannot render blank; every number carries an observation time and a source link you can check line by line.

**What if quota runs out or I am throttled?** When the daily cap is hit or your grant is exhausted, requests are throttled or stopped — wait for the next day's check-in window or move to a paid plan. For stable capacity see ThinkMaaS: smart multi-channel routing, automatic failover, token quotas, usage billing and cost dashboards, with private deployment.

## Comments and the live board

This page is a daily snapshot. Live observations, per-row verification dates and the
comment area are at <https://thinspider.thinkalike.com.cn/token-hub>.

- **Comment rules**: pre-moderated. Unapproved content never appears in the public list;
  bodies are capped at 2,000 characters; output is escaped; outbound links carry
  `rel="nofollow"`; every decision records the reviewer and the timestamp.
- **What comments do**: as an aggregation platform, the same free quota pool is
  discovered, tracked and re-verified by a crawler engine. Feedback is read next to the
  quota snapshot and decides whether a source stays listed, is downgraded, or is removed —
  removals are stated with a reason in the "excluded" table instead of disappearing silently.
- **What to report**: real rate-limit behaviour of a model, long-context quality,
  whether it stopped working, and whether it matches the stated quota basis.

## Invite and follow-up

- **Invite bonus**: set by platform configuration (`QuotaForInviter` / `QuotaForInvitee`). Both are 0 today. The gate matters: rc.40 refuses to write an invite reward until the platform compliance attestation (`payment_setting.compliance_confirmed`) is ticked, and only the platform operator can make that attestation. Once confirmed and enabled, the figure and rules land in this page's snapshot instead of verbal promises. Your personal invite link is on the ThinkMaaS account page.
- **Trial request**: https://maas.thinkalike.com.cn (submit via "Request a ThinkMaaS trial" on the campaign page; an account manager replies within 24 hours)
- **Operations group**: source failures, pool changes and board announcements are pushed to our operations group; the invite is provided by the account manager together with the trial approval, or ask by email at contact@thinkalike.com.cn. This page's snapshot is itself the public broadcast — there is no separate subscription channel and no credential is ever requested.
